We are seeking a passionate individual and software engineering technical expert for our growing IoT/Radio (SDR)/Comms product portfolio. This Embedded Software/Hardware Engineer will play a multifaceted role, connecting with Hardware and Software groups, and interacts with joint development partners. They will be the driving force in communicating and directing complex software assignments to the non-local teams as well as realizing the vision of the in house developed hardware products. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and with a team and will be able to communicate technical information to a non technical or cross functional audience. He/She will have cross functional experience and be able to lend a hand in other software decisions/tasks (Cloud, Mobile Application, etc.). Timeline and resource estimation will be driven by this individual, though you will be reporting to a product manager to help prioritize tasks and set product roadmaps. This role will be the first full time, in house software developer, with opportunities to build his/her own team and drive software decisions for the company at large. |May 4, 2019||2019-2020 Fellows Program Now Open for Applications – DEADLINE MAY 12th||The Public Lands Transportation Fellows program is now accepting applications for it’s 2019 class. The two Fellows will be stationed at Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Potomac River National Wildlife Refuge Complex in Woodbridge, Virginia. The Fellows position spans from July 8, 2019 to June 5, 2020. Compensation includes $33,000 for 10 months, benefits, relocation expenses, housing (differs for each position), and potential for Federal Non-Competitive Eligibility Status. Please note that job offers will be made contingent on funding appropriations and applicant qualifications. Applicants to the Fellows program must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent resident aliens of the U.S.; be 30 years of age or under by the start date; and have at least a Bachelor’s degree; however, the preference is for recent or soon-to-be Master’s degree graduates.
